GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators’ made a late push to fill the 2025 signing class before early National Signing Day. The Gators signed 25 players in the class, which is ranked No. 10 in the country, according to 247 Sports.
This week, some of the best high school players in the country are in Orlando, Florida for the 2025 Under Armour All-American game, which will take place on Jan. 2 at 4 p.m. and air nationally on ESPN.
The Gators have six signees and one commit playing in the game, more than any other school in the country. Read more about who the Gators have in Orlando this week.
Gators in the Under Armour All-American Game
WR – Dallas Wilson:
The newest addition to the 2025 signing class, Wilson originally signed with the Oregon Ducks. Wilson asked to be released from his financial agreement, which Oregon did, and he signed with the Gators. Wilson will enroll at Florida this spring. He amassed 128 catches for 2,417 yards and 28 touchdowns in three seasons at Tampa Bay Tech. He was remarkably consistent with at least 670 yards, 39 catches, and nine touchdowns from 2022-2024.
WR Vernell Brown:
- Rated as a consensus four-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN, On3 and Rivals
- Ranked as the No. 5 wide receiver and No. 34 player overall in the Class of 2025 by Rivals
- Positioned as the No. 4 player in the state of Florida by 247Sports
- Listed No. 44 in the ESPN Top-300
- Brown III is a triple legacy and the son of Vernell Brown II (2001-05) and grandson of Vernell Brown Sr. (1982-85). His uncle Vincent Brown was a part of the Gators 2008 national championship team
- Tallied 143 receptions for 2,488 yards and 18 touchdowns in his high school career, good for 17.4 yards/catch and 99.5 yards/game
- Chose Florida over Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and USC, among others
LB Ty Jackson:
- Rated as a consensus four-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN, On3 and Rivals
- Ranked as the No. 1 inside linebacker and No. 54 player overall in the Class of 2025 by ESPN
- Graded as the No. 8 player in the state of Florida by ESPN
- Tabbed No. 54 ESPN Top-300 recruit
- Listed as the No. 95 overall recruit according to On3
- In 32 high school games, he totaled 391 tackles (162 solo), averaging 12.2 tackles per game
- Logged 15 tackles for loss, six sacks and four interceptions
- Decommitted from USC and committed to Florida on Nov. 25, 2024
- Chose Florida over Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma and Tennessee, among others
DL Jalen Wiggins:
- Rated as a consensus four-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN, 0n3 and Rivals
- Ranked as the No. 68 overall player on top of being the No. 8 defensive lineman and No. 9 recruit in the state of Florida by ESPN for the class of 2025
- Listed as the No. 68 recruit in the ESPN Top-300
- Included in the On300 recruiting rankings by On3 at No. 156
- Recorded 188 tackles (125 solo), 39 TFLs, 31 sacks, 17 QB hurries, 10 pass deflections and three fumble recoveries
- Invited to play in the 2025 Under Armour All-American Game
- Chose Florida over Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame and Tennessee, among others
RB Byron Louis:
- Rated as a four-star recruit by On3, ESPN and Rivals as well as by the 247 Composite rankings
- Ranked as the No. 158 player on top of being the No. 9 running back and the No. 31 recruit in the state of Florida by Rivals for the Class of 2025
- Stands at No. 196 inside the ESPN Top-300
- Tabbed the No. 23 player in the state of Florida by ESPN
- Recorded 3,162 rushing yards and 44 touchdowns on 400 carries in his high school career with another 290 yards and three scores through the air
- Louis became the third former Florida State commit to flip to the Gators this cycle, joining QB Tramell Jones Jr. and IOL Daniel Pierre Louis
- Chose Florida over Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State and among others
WR Naeshaun Montgomery:
- Rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals as well as by the On3 Industry rankings and the 247 Composite rankings
- Ranked as the No. 61 overall recruit while being the No. 11 overall wide receiver and No. 14 player in the state by Rivals for the class of 2025
- Tabbed No. 116 inside the ESPN Top-300
- Totaled 41 catches for 788 yards and 12 touchdowns for 19.2 YPC during his junior and senior seasons
- Hauled in 25 passes for 537 yards and four scores as a senior
- Chose the Gators over Florida State, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Penn State, among others
2026 QB Will Griffin:
The 2026 Florida commit is getting a shot to play in the game as just a junior in high school. Griffin has started on the varsity team since he was in seventh grade. Over the last five years he’s thrown for 9,765 yards, and 106 touchdowns. As a junior, Griffin completed 65% of his pass attempts (186-286) for 24 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
