GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Southeastern Conference released the league schedule for the 2025 season, giving the Florida Gators dates for all of their games in 2025.
Florida will open the season with home games against newly added Long Island University-Brooklyn (LIU), It will be the first time Florida has opened a season against an FCS opponent since 2018 (Charleston Southern). The South Florida Bulls will travel to Gainesville in week two before the Gators hit the road.
Florida will open SEC play in Baton Rouge against LSU on September 13. It will mark just the third time Florida and LSU have met in September (1937 and 1984). Florida will travel to Miami in week four, marking the second half of their home-and-home with the Hurricanes.
Florida will have an open date before hosting Texas on October 4. They’ll travel to College Station to face the Texas A&M Aggies on October 11. It will be the sixth time the Gators and Aggies have played since Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012. It also marks Florida’s fourth trip to Kyle Field in that span.
Florida will host Mississippi State on October 18 before a second open date.
The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will take place on Nov. 1. Florida will be on the road the following two weeks at Kentucky and Ole Miss before returning home to finish the season against Tennessee (Nov. 22) and Florida State (Nov. 29).
